Computers, Flash Drives, Home Directory...OH MY...

So, this is my first blog post...ever. My name is Anne. I am a 2nd-year student at UVa and am from Culpeper (about an hour from Charlottesville). Psychology is my major in the College while my speciality area in Curry is Elementary Education. I am a proud Momma of a brown dachshund named Banco. He turns the big 5 this Thursday!

I attended my first EDLF 345 class this week. Essentially, it is a class equipping future teachers with the knowledge of technology and effective ways it can be employed in the classroom. "Sounds easy," one might think...well, for a person like me whom always darted for the nearest 'computer geek' in high school and sadly in college also, (I spent two hours before class setting up my Home Directory or I should say a friend of mine whom I will not label a 'computer geek' set it up.) this class may be challenging but definitely interesting. Blogging will allow for myself to reflect each week on ideas, issues, and concerns I have either acknowledged or have after each class.
